What we collect

Newsletter / deal alerts: if you submit the form, your email address and any region or stay-type interest you indicated.
Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and sets no cookies. It processes your IP address and browser user-agent to produce aggregate visit statistics; it does not track you across other sites.
Server logs: standard request logs for security and reliability.

Why, and our lawful basis

Consent — to send you the emails you signed up for. You can withdraw it any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage (analytics). Cloudflare processes some data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it only with providers that run the service for us (e.g. our email and hosting/analytics providers) under contract. When you click an outbound booking link, you're subject to that provider's own privacy policy.

Retention

We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to you personally.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, or object to processing. Email privacy@snughideaways.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
